Before hiring someone to clean your home, you want to make sure they are the best fit for you and your family. Here are some important questions you should always ask:
1.) HOW MUCH EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE?
The purpose of hiring a house cleaning company is to get a professional cleaning. Finding one with experience is important because it means they know what they’re doing.
At Brite & Shine, we have over 15 years' experience in both home cleaning and nursing home cleaning. All our employees not only have experience, but we train them to make sure they all give the highest quality attention to every home and live up to our guarantee.
2.) DO YOU USE YOUR OWN SUPPLIES?
Some house cleaners only provide the service but not the cleaning products. Some bring products that are not sanitizing or safe.
At Brite & Shine, we not only use our own products, but they are hospital-grade yet safe for children and pets.
3.) IS THERE ANYTHING YOU NEED TO PREPARE BEFORE WE ARRIVE?
Make sure you ask your cleaner what they expect when they arrive.
At Brite & Shine, whatever items you leave out around your home will be cleaned and set at or near the same spots they were. We do our best to make sure we do not move too many items but you may have to just reset a few things after we are finished, especially if you have a lot of pictures or knick-knacks around.
Please be sure we know if you have pets and what we can expect from them while we are cleaning.
And any personal items you do not want us to touch need to be put away. Please make sure to let us know if there are items you do not want us to clean or things we should not touch while we are in your home.
We love animals but please make sure we know if you have pets and especially caged animals we shouldn't approach.
4. HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
You can’t hire any cleaning company without knowing about the cost. You’ll find a variety of companies with different pricing structures.
At Brite & Shine, there are several factors that go into determining the rate for your home. While the size and square footage of the residence is important, it is not the sole element that determines the price.
The frequency, number of residents and pets, the condition and any additional tasks that must be undergone when cleaning will be considered to render an accurate assessment of what your cleaning rate will be.
Because of our different clients' needs, we provide a free no obligation in-home estimate that allows us to consult with you and assess what will be required to meet your needs. We will quote you at that time. After the initial cleaning visit, we can then provide you with a flat rate for future or regular maintenance visits. The initial cleaning visit may cost more because it takes extra effort and supplies. We want to ensure we start with your home the cleanest it can be!
5. ARE YOU INSURED?
You do not want anyone cleaning your home who doesn't have the proper coverages in case something would happen.
Brite & Shine is fully bonded and insured so should anything unfortunate happen you know you will have nothing to worry about.
6. WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO GET CLEANED? AND WHAT DOESN'T?
One sign of a professional cleaning service is that they clean with a plan in mind: a strategy that takes on cleaning in a systematic, organized way (while having the flexibility to incorporate your custom wishes.)
We are prepared to clean in a way that best fashions the set-up of your house. Expect all the rooms to be dusted and vacuumed, floors are swept and mopped. In bedrooms, we will make up your beds, pictures and ceiling fans are dusted off. Hallways are all cleaned. Your kitchen will all be wiped down and sanitized, floors swept and mopped, and windows shining. Bathrooms are all clean and sanitized including all tubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, walls, and floors.
If for any reason you need a particular room finished for a certain time (like an office), just let us know.
We do not clean the insides of refrigerators or stoves, and windows are not done at a regular cleaning.
